How Can Students Get Involved?

We understand that all students have different levels of comfort when it comes to discussing concerns they may have with the Department. That is why we have created a variety of ways for you to reach out to us.

  • Student Forums: Join us for bi-weekly open discussions over lunch (BYOL) in 414 ERB. You will have the opportunity to talk to the executive members of the Committee face-to-face in a casual and welcoming environment. At these meetings there are no faculty or staff members present, so discussions will take place in a safe, yet open environment. Feel free to join us for the entire lunch or drop in when you can. Students are encouraged to attend even if they do not have something specific to discuss. Student Forums lunches will be held the first Tuesday and third Wednesday of every month from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm in 414 ERB.
    Spring 2018 dates: Jan 31st, Feb 13th, Feb 28th, March 13th, March 28th, April 10th, April 25th, May 8th

  • Semester Forums: Once each semester, we will host an evening student-only discussion session. At this meeting, we will discuss in further detail with the larger student body some of the concerns brought to the Committee. These meetings will also allow time for new concerns to be brought forward as well. Date/time/location TBD.

  • Email: If you have something to discuss, but cannot attend any of the meetings, please feel free to email us or set up a time to meet with us one-on-one. We can be reached at studentadvisory@ep.wisc.edu.

  • Anonymous Comments: If you are not comfortable with any of the other methods of contacting us, please use this anonymous form to submit your concerns and we will do our best to address them.
